Heat Pump Survey

CRESA are undertaking the heat pump household surveying for BRANZ Ltd’s nationwide Key Energy Uses study. The Key Energy Uses study is looking at how heat pumps are used, their performance, installation quality, electricity use and temperatures.

The CRESA survey is designed to help understand why the occupants are using their heat pumps in the way they are, why they purchased them, and also to help forecast future uptake, and understand issues such as maintenance and noise.  CRESA surveying is scheduled to be completed March 2012 with full study results mid 2012.

This project is being jointly funded by BRANZ from the Building Research Levy, Transpower, EECA and CRESA.
